Legal Costs and First Aid: Paid on Top of Your Limit

Legal costs to defend a covered claim, and first aid costs at the time of an injury, are paid in addition to your limit.

Example: A claim against you is defended in court. The legal bill is paid separately, so your full limit is still there for any compensation.

Good to know: Legal costs must be incurred by the insurer, or by you with the insurer's written consent. The excess applies.
